On March 2, 2009, the Village of Channahon unanimously voted in a Resposnsible Bidders Ordinance. The ordinance sets minimum requirements for all contractors and subcontractors bidding on publicly funded projects in Channahon. The requirements will be incorporated into all bid documents so that all potential bidders will know what is expected of them. The Building Trades applauds Village President Joe Cook and the Village Board for going the extra mile to protect the investments of Channahon.
