On March 9, 2009, Lockport Township amd Lockport Township Highway Department unanimously voted in a Resposnsible Bidders Ordinance. The ordinance sets minimum requirements for all contractors and subcontractors bidding on publicly funded projects within Lockport Township. The requirements will be incorporated into all bid documents so that all potential bidders will know what is expected of them. The Building Trades applauds Township Supervisor Judy Batusich and the Township Board for going the extra mile to protect the investments of the Township. More information on Responsible Bidders Ordinances are available in the legal area of this website!
